Additional information

This special issue was proposed, introduced, and edited by Wright. She devised the call-for-papers and, from the abstracts received, selected seven essays that reflected the range of ongoing work in the fields of eighteenth-century and Romantic Gothic and illustrated the plasticity of the Gothic in this period. The essays included discuss drama, poetry, history, scientific works, and prose fiction. She edited all seven essays, wrote an introduction of 2,343 words, and an essay of 5,000 words.
