Understanding mycardial wall motion is fundamental to assess cardiac function in stress-induced ischemia and myocardial viability. These are critical in defining care paths of patients suspected of coronary artery disease. Research was carried out with key opinion leaders in cardiology at Leiden Medical Centre, Netherlands (contact: Professor of Cardiology, LUMC), where the method is now clinically used.
