Additional information

This is the first ever reported the highest carbon dioxide uptake capacity recorded to date for porous carbon materials. This paper was listed as one of the most cited 2011 papers by the editor-in-chief of Advanced Energy Materials in its 2013 Editorial (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/aenm.201201041/pdf). This initial work has led to a funding from Royal Academy of Engineering jointly with collaborator (Prof. Zhongyong Yuan, zyyuan@nankai.edu.cn) to further develop our research in this area.
