<19> Behavioural and structural reflection offers a means to fix security issues at run-time in an automated way that might otherwise require a system to be taken offline and even re-written. Yet while the technology for altering code dynamically at run-time is well developed, providing suitable cases where it can be effectively applied remains a challenge. The key novel contribution of the paper lies in exploring and implementing a number of such cases to allow the potential of these run-time techniques to be demonstrated clearly. This helps to stimulate further research and development in the subject area.
