Additional information

<08>This paper resulted from one of the industrial use-cases of the EU FP7 project ADVANCE. The chosen vision algorithm plays a key role in several of the vision pipelines used by the "Software Competence Center Hagenberg" SCCH (http://www.scch.at/), a company that offers consultancy across a wide spectrum of companies with high-performance needs in image processing. The presented outcomes led to SCCH promoting our framework amongst their clients. First tangible evidence is the company Trumpf Maschinen Austria investing into an evaluation of the benefits of our technology for their business through Dr. Volkmar Wieser from SCCH.
