Dual-hop systems with noisy relay and interference-limited destination
94 Google Scholar Citations. International collaboration with Southeast University (Shi Jin) and Zhejiang University (C Zhong). Analysed the severe impact of unavoidable interference on the outage performance of relay channels. A key result led to further funding: £117k EPSRC-DSTL project (EP/H011536/1) which exploits the path information of the interference for cooperative localisation of distributed GPS-denied mobile devices. Further led to collaboration with BT (Santosh Kawade) for developing a signal processing solution (to be used in Dubai) for cooperative localisation using WiFi access points. Also led to collaboration with T Ratnarajah, University of Edinburgh for extending the results to practical environments.
