Double-weighted statement

The output submitted for double-weighting is a single-authored monograph, which was completed in three years. The work aims to rethink the crucial question of time in the writings of Marguerite Duras and directly challenges the widely-shared vision of a ‘metaphysics of the instant’ through the interaction of various critical approaches. It is the first monograph on Duras which features a genetic analysis of selected manuscripts of the author – a relatively recent and neglected resource in the field of Duras studies. Special permission was granted to consult this primary source which is solely accessible at the IMEC Institute in France.
