Additional information
This is a work of true collaboration. Kelly had initial responsibility for producing draft texts of all the documents and much of the commentaries, while Brooks undertook the first interpretation of the boundary clauses and of the whole Introduction. However, every part was subject to extensive revision and rewriting by the other editor. By the end of this process, both found themselves in agreement on the interpretation of individual documents; in those places where their views diverged, both interpretations were given, so that readers may assess the balance of the evidence for themselves.
