The Future is Blinding: short experimental Film for the Musicians Epic 45
My Short Film ‘The Future is Blinding’, 2009, is a short experimental film for the musicians Epic 45 for the record 'All The Empty Houses'. It was released on the record label Make Mine Music (http://makeminemusic.bandcamp.com) in the UK and also released on Thomason Sounds in Japan.
My short film was released on DVD in Japan on the Record label Thomason Sounds. The film was also released online via Vimeo and You Tube and achieved over 12,000 views.
Although it is a commission the film fits into my wider strategy for making films about the spaces that people have inhabited and now left. This film's central themes are to do with loss and what we as Humans leave behind. As such it can also stand alone as a work of art in itself.
