Marxism and Education: Renewing the Dialogue, Pedagogy and Culture

This volume was the fruit of a seminar at the Institute of Education in London. A related volume of papers was proposed with Jones as sole editor. Three of the original seminar participants contributed a chapter; the other six chapters were either specially commissioned by Jones or were reprints of published papers, selected by Jones, deemed central to the theme. As well as contributing a chapter and a seven-page introduction, Jones structured the volume thematically, gave extensive advice to the authors of original and commissioned papers and in one case corrected the English translation of passages in Spanish.
