Additional information

This short story was commissioned by the Glasgow Women’s Library for its 21 Revolutions exhibition, which took place at Glasgow’s Centre for Contemporary Arts in summer 2012, at Edinburgh’s Royal Scottish Academy in summer 2013, and on the library website. The project ‘germinated from a desire to promote and celebrate 20 years of Scotland’s sole women’s library archive and museum, showcase the best of women’s contemporary visual art and writing and highlight the unique museum, library and archive resources at Glasgow Women’s Library’ (http://womenslibrary.org.uk/discover-our-projects/21-revolutions/). Marney read her story on 14 June 2012 at Glasgow Women's Library and 3 October 2012 at the CCA.

Later it was released as a podcast, to be found here: http://womenslibrary.org.uk/2012/11/21/21-revolutions-podcast-laura-marney-mango/. It will be published in book form with the rest of the 21 Revolutions stories in 2014.

The accompanying portfolio includes the online flyer for 21 Revolutions, the online exhibition programme, three photographs of Marney at the 14 June reading, and a copy of Mango.
