Additional information

Dr Schurink was sole organiser of a two-day conference on Tudor Translation in 2009, for which he invited 10 speakers from North America, Europe, and the UK, as part of his Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship. He selected the most relevant and interesting papers and successfully approached Palgrave Macmillan for publication in the Early Modern Literature in History series. He contributed an essay to the volume (pp. 58-78) and had sole responsibility for editing, which involved offering detailed comments and suggestions for each of the essays, writing a substantial introduction (pp. 1-17), and producing pre-liminary and post-liminary matter, including a bibliography.
