Double-weighted statement

This book develops the first integrated account of addiction and weakness of will in the context of a comprehensive theory of responsibility and a related general model of action. The thesis generated is particularly complex. Furthermore, it required the analysis of a considerable body of diverse research material, including contemporary analytic philosophy, ancient Greek texts, clinical descriptions and memoirs of addiction.
