Additional information

This output was jointly developed by Richard Sandell and Jocelyn Dodd with editorial input from Rosemarie Garland-Thomson into the first book to critically examine representations of disability and disabled people within museums. Sandell was lead editor (70%), conceiving the vision for the book, working closely with contributors (practitioners and researchers from four continents) to ensure academic standards across the volume and to maximise the connections between chapters that each addressed a shared concern (portrayals of disability in museums) from very diverse disciplinary and socio-cultural contexts. Sandell was lead author of chapter 1 (80%) and co-author of chapter 7 (40%).
