Double-weighted statement

This book, regarded as the authoritative text in zoo education, is a 214 page book of approximately 90,000 words. It discusses the two zoo voices: visitors’, particularly primary school and family groups; and the zoo’s, delivered through exhibits, labels and displays. I am responsible for approximately 60% of the text. Chapters 5, 6, 7 and 8 and parts of chapter 9 are my research work. The book establishes a baseline for zoos that could guide them in assisting visitors to construct further understanding of fundamental biology and biological conversations and the organisation of school field trips.
