Additional information

This contributed to a subsequent and substantial industrial research programme with TIMET (VP R&D TIMET, 1/4/2012-31/3/2017). It also led to an invited talk at the IOM3 conference “OPTIMoM: Optimising Performance Through Integrated Modelling of Microstructure”; use by a US research group “Mark Ward … pioneered the use of … magnetic flux density sensors as a means of studying VAR arc behavior,” (WOODSIDE et al., DOI 10.1007/s11663-012-9760-1); Ward being on the scientific committee of the Liquid Metal Processing and Casting conference series http://www.tms.org/meetings/2013/lmpc2013/home.aspx and invited to co-chair the 2015 conference. This paper is also cited in impact case study 3b 1.
