Additional information

<04>This is the first paper to introduce a cross-layer optimized security framework which also allows for aggregating packets. In the context of smart grid (gas) metering mainly, we have taken physical layer information to optimise packet lengths to minimise outages during transmission. This optimal packet length has stimulated the number of to-be-aggregated packets, for which we also have introduced a security framework. The work has been used in the security alliance Wave2M and thus reached market already.
