Additional information

<02>Pioneering work that considers the stability analysis of fuzzy-model-based control systems where the membership functions of the fuzzy model and the fuzzy controller differ. It is an extension of the novel concept proposed in 2005 by me. The analysis results show that the long-standing analysis difficulty can be handled and enhance the design flexibility of fuzzy controllers leading to a simple and low-cost implementation. This work has set a new research direction leading to 8 follow-on articles from other researchers (e.g., Wen-Jer Chang, Dawei Wang, Zejian Zhang, Ho Jun Kim) dealing with different control problems.
