Additional information

<02>The first work to propose a closed form of interval type-2 T-S fuzzy model representing nonlinear plants subject to uncertainty, providing a mathematical tool facilitating development of advanced interval type-2 fuzzy-model-based control theories and techniques. It proposes a systematic stability analysis approach with an interval type-2 fuzzy controller overcoming the difficulty resulting from interval type-2 membership functions, which cannot be dealt with by the existing type-1 analysis techniques. This work opens a new research direction and led to four follow-on articles from other researchers (e.g., Jiangtao Cao, Long Sheng) by sharing the concept of modelling and stability analysis approach.
