Additional information

<21>Originality: the paper defines and applies a new method for using the massive data resource that is YouTube to address issues in human computer interaction. Both the use of YouTube this way and the use of multiple research techniques as not been applied previously in HCI. Rigour: the multi-method approach is able to triangulate across different data sources to provide sound insights into interactions and interactive devices. Significance: it is the first attempt to apply critical readings to HCI questions and since then there has been a growth in the use of critical research methods for HCI.
