Additional information

<24> Reports first connectionist implementation of Stochastic Dynamic Search (SDS) and introduces new metaphor for neuronal operation based on communication rather than computation. The connectionist SDS algorithm is shown experimentally to be functionally equivalent to standard, sequential implementations. Led to invitations to present at the “Philosophy of Information and Computing Sciences” workshop at the Lorentz Institute in Leiden and at the “Foundational Questions in Mathematical Sciences” workshop at Traunkirchen alongside Fields Medallist Voevodsky. Laid foundations for first half of a Templeton Foundation Grant (US charity-supported competitive grants on “inter-disciplinary research about human purpose and ultimate reality”: two-stage peer-reviewed process).
