Additional information

As well as contributing my own chapter to this volume (‘Rock, Television, Paper, Musicals, Scissors: Buffy, The Simpsons, and Parody’) I also played a major editorial role in the book’s conception and execution, overseeing its content, and working closely on the development of chapters with contributors. As the only one of the editors to be on the project from beginning to end, I supported its continuation during the illness and untimely death of Vanessa Knights, and maintained the book's focus through its end stages. The book was winner of the Whedon Association award for best published book for 2010.
