The VLA-cosmos perspective on the infrared-radio relation. I. New constraints on selection biases and the non-evolution of the infrared/radio properties of star-forming and active galactic nucleus galaxies at intermediate and high redshift
Sargent produced the catalog of radio sources and associated flux measurements used in this paper and compiled all multi-wavelength information on the radio- and IR-sources. He defined the sample of galaxies and implemented the scheme to distinguish between AGN- and star-formation activity. He carried out the statistical analyses leading to the main results and refined these statistical algorithms where necessary. He was responsible for gathering all literature data on the topic and for identifying how discrepant results in previous work could be understood by selection effects. He produced all the figures and wrote the text of the paper.
