<21> This paper demonstrated the first ever situated domestic deployment of a working experimental surface technology. The work generated significant press (with coverage in articles in/by eNews 2.0, Seattle Times, Network World and an Associated Press article which was picked up in several countries around the world). Published at the CSCW conference (20% acceptance rate) this paper won a Best Paper award (given to top 1% of submissions) and led to an invitation to be Paper Chair for the international Tangible and Embodied/Embedded Interaction (TEI 2013) conference.
