Additional information

<19> This paper's significance is threefold: (i) discovered a new attack that is applicable to the whole family of Click-based graphical passwords, which are the most well-studied (the attack can reduce the password search space in each scheme by a factor of 210 or more, and therefore significantly undermine their security); (ii) resolved a problem unresolved for years, viz. does discretization leak password information?; and (iii) provided the first effective attack on PCCP (Persuasive Cued Click Points) considered to a a secure click-based scheme, invulnerable to all previous known attacks.
