Additional information

It reports a true tomographic impedance measurement system, resulting in a low noise level (less than 0.5%) and fast data acquisition speed (1000 imaging frames/second). The outcome enables electrical tomography to successfully access to high conductive process medium, e.g. the measurements of the oil-gas in seawater (5.0S/m) and the precipitation process in high acid liquid in nuclear fuel process. The technique has been patented (PCT/GB2010/051035) and licensed to an industry (http://www.itoms.com). Further funding from both EPSRC KTS and TSB have been awarded, which enable the commercial product to be available in 2013.
