Assessment of the greenhouse gas emissions from cogeneration and trigeneration systems. Part I: Models and indicators
This paper, in a leading journal in the field, introduced theoretical models and indicators to assess differences and synergies between energy efficiency and emission reduction in low-carbon energy systems. The indicators have been used by many research groups (e.g. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.applthermaleng.2008.08.005; http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.enbuild.2009.05.014), and have led to invited presentations by the Committee on Climate Change (contact details available) and at institutions such as the Ecole Centrale de Lille on the occasion of an invited Professorship (details available). The work also led to an invitation to write a book (ISBN 978-1-60456-688-8) and contribute chapters for several other books (e.g. ISBN 978-3-642-27431-2).
