Additional information

Haki Antonsson edited this volume with Professor Ildar Garipzanov (University of Oslo). The Introduction (pp. 1-14) was co-written by Antonsson and Garipzanov, whereas the first chapter of Part One (pp. 17-37) was single authored by Antonsson. All subsequent chapters were edited jointly, although Antonsson led the editing on chapters that focused on North-Western Europe (pp. 39-94; 171-258) while Garipzanov took the lead in editing chapters on Eastern Europe. The Index (which contains subject matters, personal and place-names) was compiled jointly by Garipzanov and Antonsson.
