Additional information

An output from the £2M EPSRC/BAE Systems co-funded S4T project, the study uncovered new service attributes for successful delivery of outcome-based contracts. The results are now used by BAE systems internal training programmes in service. A further £2.3M was granted to develop a Knowledge transfer (KT) box on service. Two tools – CCAT (co-creation assessment tool) and STT (Service Transformation Tool) has been developed from this paper, sponsored by Flybe (for CCAT) and MoD (for STT). STT development has influenced policy and practice (see letter from MoD) and will be deployed for use in MoD availability contracts.
