Ratiometric info-chemical communication system based on polymer-coated surface acoustic wave microsensors
A result of a large FP6 project coordinated by Warwick (iCHEM 2.3M€) the work resulted in further FP7 applications. One of the proposals, entitled Infochemical messaging at the molecular scale, was submitted to the Future and Emerging Technologies Open program (3M€), ranked 4th and narrowly missed funding. Based on this work the invitation was also received to speak at the meeting organised by the Knowledge Transfer Network (invitation received from Professor Richard Luxton, Institute of Bio-Sensing Technology, Bristol, Richard.Luxton@uwe.ac.uk) on Whole Cell Biosensors in the Era of Synthetic Biology on 3rd July 2012 in London.
