Additional information

This work towards the probabilistic design approach for assessing vibration serviceability of structures, part of which was published at IMAC2007, helped the probabilistic approach to be adopted as a standard in contemporary research (e.g. Dr Federica Tubino, University of Genoa, federica.tubino@unige.it; Dr Colin Caprani, Dublin Institute of Technology, colin.caprani@dit.ie; Prof. Jose Luis Zapicco Valle, University of Oviedo, jzapico@uniovi.es; Dr Vitomir Racic, University of Sheffield, v.racic@sheffield.ac.uk). This approach was also adopted in advanced commercial applications within the Full Scale Dynamics Ltd. (Prof. Aleksandar Pavic, a.pavic@fullscaledynamics.com).
