Additional information

The work is very critical to sand related flow assurance in petroleum fluid transport via pipelines of various configurations. It gives some useful insights into the important effects of gas velocity on the effective transport of sand particles in suspension within the fluid streams. The outcome has been well integrated into a related PhD study which has resulted in a successful outcome and has generated interest from a section of the oil and gas industry interested in flow assurance (Managing Director, Intelligent Flow Solutions; www.intelligent-flow.com)
