Human exposure to nanoparticles presents a major health-risk in the modern industrial workplace. This study was conducted in collaboration with Ayres (Aberdeen) in developing a precision, automated bolus delivery system to help study regional deposition of nanoparticles within the human respiratory system and to challenge or validate theoretical deposition models published by International Commission for Radiation Protection (ICRP-1994).
