The methodology for collecting process time data using virtual manufacturing tools proposed in this paper led to the TSB project (“TS/G000662/1 -Remanufacture of high value products using a combined Laser cladding, Inspection and Machining system - RECLAIM”) with partners Delcam, ATI, Renishaw, TWI, Cummins and Electrox. The proposed methodology represented a critical work package which developed models for both cost and carbon emissions measurements for the new technology being developed.
