Double-weighted statement

This output qualifies for double weighting as the central concept of the book, that literary writing was a form of scientific practice in the nineteenth century, is particularly complex because it has had to take into account - and elaborate new ways of reading - a wide variety of technical, scientific, and literary texts. Working in two disciplines meant collecting and analysing a considerable body of both primary and secondary materials in order to make these arguments and make them speak convincingly to academics in distinct fields.
