Additional information

<02> Published in one of the top three journals in the field, this research reports the first application of the recently proposed CRO meta-heuristic to the scheduling of DAG jobs in heterogeneous computing systems. Compared with one of the most highly cited GA-based multiprocessor scheduling systems (Hou, NJIT), the proposed approach converges on a scheduling solution that is 26.5% faster on average and 58.9% faster in the best case. The research was supported in the UK by the Leverhulme Trust (RPG-101). This research has already found application to chemical reaction optimisation on embedded multi-processors (Xu, Hunan, in Advanced Materials Research).
