The paper presents details of a new concept in micro-channel fluid contactor-separator. A prototype device is built and tested. The paper presents its basic design and operating characteristics and limitations, thus enabling its detailed consideration for application within micro-channel systems, including both micro-reactors or mass transfer operations.
