<13> The work reported was carried out in collaboration with BAE (Technology Strategy Board Project No. TP/3/DSM/6/I/15769). The project was a finalist for a 2009 Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Innovation Award. It also led to follow on funding from BAE for an EngD studentship to investigate the inference of hazard causes in unmanned autonomous systems supervised. These developments contributed to the award of a £1m EPSRC grant ((EP/J1011525/1) to consider situational awareness and decision making under uncertainty of unmanned autonomous vehicles.
