The genesis of cerebellar interneurons and the prevention of neural DNA damage require XRCC1
(a) I made a substantial contribution to the conception and design of the study, and to the organisation of the conduct of the study; and to carrying out the study (including acquisition of study data); and to analysis and interpretation of study data. In particular, I conducted the experiments measuring DNA repair rates in astrocytes from the Xrcc1 mouse
and
(b) I helped draft the output; or critique the output for important intellectual content. In particular, I drafted the major parts of the manuscript relating to XRCC1 function in repair, wrote the section describing the repair defects in XRCC1 defective astrocytes, and helped write and edit the overall manuscript.
