Additional information

The significant impact of this research is in the application of new non-invasive techniques for addressing clinical problems of early diabetes diagnostics and its management. It has resulted in national collaboration with clinical research being carried out at Oxford University (Dr. Tim Holt, tim.holt@phc.ox.ac.uk) and international collaboration with Saratov State University (Prof Alexey Pavlov, pavlov.lesha@gmail.com). The technique developed has been proposed for analysis of antibodies dynamics in kidney transplantation and secured EPSRC funding (EP/K02504X/1, £120k, Sept 2013 – Aug 2015).
