Additional information

This paper is an output of the successful Flood Risk Management Research Consortium. The paper presents the development and first field validation of a sophisticated modelling approach to predict future sewer flows and urban flood risk in near real time. This paper is the first of its kind; earlier papers in this area either compared different rainfall forecasting models, or effects of different rainfall measurement methods on flow simulation, or used only deterministic 'nowcasting' models.
