Electrical characterization and equivalent circuit analysis of (Bi1.5Zn0.5)(Nb0.5Ti1.5)O7 Pyrochlore, a relaxor ceramic
A completely new method for analysing the electrical properties of relaxors. All previous analyses used fixed frequency permittivity and dielectric loss data as a function of temperature. Here, using variable frequency impedance data, the electrical response in time and temperature is analysed and modelled for the first time (with follow-on paper in J. Amer. Ceram. Soc., 95 296 (2012)). Since all previous analysis methods were restricted to fixed frequency data, deconvolution of data into resistive/capacitive components, and their temperature dependence, was impossible. This new method should have wide applicability for relaxors and relaxor ferroelectrics.
