Additional information

Inverted F antennas are commonly used in hand held wireless devises because of its’ size and simple design. Future communication standards such as 5G will operate over multiple bands to achieve higher capacity. This paper presented a multiband version of the design for slim cellular handsets that incorporated independent re-design features. This feature is difficult to achieve and useful when re-designing a particular band to adjacent frequencies without disturbing the other bands. This paper has been cited many times and also helped to stimulate further research in this field by the group.
