Additional information

Transmit diversity systems for terrestrial broadcast systems have been developed and tested in the field and it was shown that its performance for moving TV devices is no better than existing broadcast handheld DVB-H systems but significantly improved the performance of terrestrial broadcast DVB-T systems in non-line of sight environments. This allowed industry to decide the most appropriate terrestrial transmission systems to use for mobile TV reception. The new knowledge lead to enhanced products for DIBCOM (Gerard Pousset gpousset@dibcom.fr) an increased client outreach for SIRADEL (Yves Lostenlen ylostanlen@siradel.com) and enlarged scope of consulting services for BROADREACH (Maurice Bard mail@broadreachsystems.com).
