Additional information

<22> This paper describes a novel model-based behavior analysis system for assisted living. Univariate statistical analysis is employed in analyzing trend and probabilistic techniques in the form of Hidden Markov Models are employed for modeling behaviour as a sequence of activities. This paper is of great interest in the field of ambient assisted living, where the detection of dynamics of elderly people and people with physical and mental impairment is essential.
