<32> In April 2009, I was invited by the US director of Cyber Security education, Brenda Oldfield, along with several leading international authorities in cyber security to critically survey the state of art in "Information Assurance and Security education" with a view to highlighting good practices and identifying important gaps. This article, produced as a final report of the one week long meeting in July 2009, has since been used to influence policies on cyber security education in the US and EU.
