Additional information

<27> This paper is the first serious attempt at bringing together the various diverse major design issues for several types of electrical motor. It also discusses the major analysis methods and software tools available for electrical motor design. It recognises the difficulty for designers in working with the disparate techniques and tools, each with their own terminology and operating principles. The complex integration of these techniques and tools into a useable form is the research base for one of the impact case studies submitted.
