Additional information

<29>The paper introduces the concept of contributory simulation that enables teams of users to not only explore a hypothetical world, but also to change it. The 4Decades simulation (http://multiberry.net/projects/4decades.html), reported in the paper, has been successfully deployed in four international executive training workshops on sustainable business leadership run by Cambridge University (90 participants). The approach has informed the PowerSim structured process, developed as part of a partnership between Otago Polytechnic and Dunedin City Council Community Resilience Forum to better understand and support long-term decision making, in the context of public transport and town planning.
