The work carried out was under the EPSRC funded FLAVIER project that led to the development of an electromagnetic capability that is now utilised by BAE Systems as part of their data acquisition tools. This project has won the Engineering Technology & innovation Award 2011. Furthermore, the meshing technique developed in this work was the starting point of a TSB funded grant and the currently funded Cassidian grant (Herbert Reiger Cassidian, Herbert.Rieger@cassidian.com).
