<27>This paper draws upon a significant body of large scale and high profile EU and EPSRC funded project work carried out by the authors, to set out the landscape of IT facilitated information sharing in the construction industry. It identifies clearly the most promising research directions for the future in this area, and has influenced research work carried out since. This is evidenced, for example, in 16 publications (excluding 3 self-citations) reported by Google Scholar at the time of writing, that cite this one.
